Our 2024 grant applications are now closed as of 11.59pm on the 30th June 2024.
For more information, please refer to our FAQs, or contact us.
Please note, we’ll only reach out to you in the event of a successful grant. Due to the high number of applications we cannot give individual responses as to why your application was unsuccessful. In addition, due to privacy concerns, we are unable to discuss or publicly share information about those who were successful.
Gingernut’s Angels grants are awarded up to NZD $10,000.
Grant money will be paid directly to the registered fertility clinic of the applicant/s. No monies will be directly distributed to grant recipient(s) or private parties.
Grant money must be intended to be used before December 31, 2024. Any monies not used by this time will be returned to Gingernut’s Angels so that it may be used by another person/s ready to start their fertility journey. You may apply again in subsequent years if you are not yet ready to start your journey, or circumstances arise that delay the commencement of your treatment.
Grants can be used for treatments including In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Frozen Embryo Transfers (FET) and Egg Freezing and Preservation.
There will likely be costs associated with your treatment that are not covered by the grant (including the remainder of your treatment cost) which you will need to cover. These include but are not limited to genetic testing, medical revision (reversing or correcting other medical treatment you may have had), and alternative therapies. We advise that you speak to your clinic/specialist practitioner about these costs ahead of time.
All parties to an application must be a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand.
Grant applications close at 11.59pm on the 30th June 2024.
